If you ever get a chance to let us (Pledging for Change Community Interest Company'non-profit org)help you raise funds please check out http://www.pledgingforchange.org.
Maybe I can find a volunteer who will adopt your organization and promote the program on with you so you get a flying start.

Transition Projects, Inc.
What kind of work do you do?
We believe that at any point in anyone's life that they can become homeless... and they don't have to stay that way.

The mission of Transition Projects is to serve people's basic needs as they transition from homelessness to housing. Because everyone is unique, we tailor specific services to the individual.

Basic needs are the bedrock of our work : Clothing, food, showers, food boxes, blankets, a safe and warm place to stay—provided with compassion and professionalism.

Shelter and transitional housing are tools we use to help people obtain their own housing : We offer 3 progressive housing steps.

-Basic shelter—a chance to clean up, take care of health problems, and plan for the future. Basic shelter may last up to 6 weeks if necessary.
-Transitional shelter—an opportunity to build skills, find work, save money, and overcome barriers to housing. Transitional shelter may last up to 4 months.
-Supportive housing—an opportunity for people to build a rental history, get services, and get back on their feet.

Our shelter and transitional housing are accompanied with services that help people overcome their barriers to housing: employment classes, mental health counseling, alcohol and drug counseling, life skills, and case managers who work with each individual to set and meet goals for obtaining housing.

Each year we serve more than 9,000 people.
