Teaching understanding through music & dance
I like to bring my students with me to cultural festivals and concerts. Sometimes I have them play or dance along, other times they are just there to observe.
Understanding other people's traditions, and respecting their differences, is the key to getting along in this crazy & exciting world. They say that you can't fully understand a person until you've walked a few miles in their moccasin's, so I encourage everyone to give it a try.
