- Ride Connection collaborates with over 30 social service agencies to provide transportation and transportation services to older adults and people with disabilities in the Portland Metro area. Last fiscal year we and our partner agenices were able to provide over 370,000 rides to people who otherwise might be homebound.
Transportation is a basic human need, and Ride Connection links people to vital services such as life-sustaining medical treatments, meal sites/food shopping trips, recreation, and worship. Though we reach many in the community, we also have to turn down rides every month because we don't have the funds or the volunteers to provide them.
